| | | [3D MODEL GENERATION USING PHOTOGRAMMETRY]
| Model generation is achieved using three alternative methods:
|  | | | One way is the reconstruction of known mathematical surfaces. In order, however, to reduce model development times, usage of state-of the-art techniques such as 3D laser scanning and digital photogrammetry can be used. The above two methods are related to the creation of digital copies of real-world 3-D models, using either a 3D object scanner or the digital photogrammetry method. Our company has developed special know-how on object photography using CCD digital cameras and photogrammetric processes for the automated generation of surface digital models.
